I haven't read anything super popular. Twilight gets a thumbs down, but really thats the only thing I've really heard of recently... I read the script for the book of Eli yesterday and it was pretty interesting.
i just reread the catcher in the rye after salinger died a few days ago; he was my favorite author, and is always really interesting & enjoyable to me.
A book I read recently was "Breaking Dawn," By Stepthenie Meyer. This book was interesting because it's the last book of the Twilight Series and I thought that it be funny to see how the series ends. ~Morgan McCoy
The recent book i have read will be... probably the Harry Potter series. But before that was Dante's Inferno, and Lost Paradise. Two of the best biblical literary poems in europe. Yes I am a Nerd. Muhahaha... -Nate C.
Im really not the biggest fan of reading and usually if i do it it's because im required to by school. A little bit ago i read an article on how much sleep you need and what was interesting is that your suppose to have 7-9 hours of sleep which was funny because i only get like 6.
i read this article about world war 2 movies, it said it seems like people enjoyed movies about war prisoners the most which were the most sad movies in 1950s

A book that i read that was very interesting to me was called, "The Foriegner" because it includes traveling around the world and finding a little siblings for some family issues.
I recently read an article about procrastination. It was a persuasive essay telling readers to be more acceptive to procrastinators, and mentioned the possibility of it being a mental disorder.
Something that i read recently that was interesting was on the advancements of stem cell research. I think it is really amazing that they can heal the way they do

Last night, on my way home from swim practice, the radio station I was listening to was ranting on how the government was raising taxes by labeling the middle class as "rich". That means, technically, they aren't raising taxes. Then he ranted on about how he doesn't like the idea to have government-controlled healthcare.
That was an interesting "article" I've seen lately. I can't recall the last article in the newspaper I've read. I hope this will do.

The last thing I read was Death of a salesman in my advanced composition class. That particular play was pretty interesting because I always wanted to read more just from the foreshadowing and imagery.
-The book i recently have read was called 'Tweak'. This book was about a kid that was addicted to drugs and dropped outta school and changed his life around. it was interesting because of the fact that her changed his life around.
The most recent book I've read was Seduced by Moonlight [3rd book in the Merry Gentry Series], which is by Laurell K. Hamilton who is New York Times Best Selling Author. Its kinda a series based with the Ptincess of the Unseelie Court and her race to get pregnant before her cousin. This book is a bit on the gory side but then it has great graphics nonetheless. I also read a short story by Emily K. Called A Wish For Her. It's an amazing short story about everyone talking about one girl who has all these guys & looks like [excuse my language] a whore to the rest of the school, and no one likes her, but one of the girls sees the girl while shes at home, a makes a wish that someone out there will truly love her. Its pretty sad story but its touching and relatable to teens nowadays.
Im not a real big reader but last night i read the most recent Seventeen magazine which i found very interesting.Magazines usually appeal more to me than ordinary books because they are so much more involved.

the last book i read was tears of a tiger. Its an enjoyable book but it is a sad book that makes you think about the effects of death on yourself an the people that know you. i thought it was a good book because it just sucks you into bacause its something people go through everday
The last new book i read was named The Fade, pretty interesting book, it is a story about a mother who happens to be an assassin trying to find her son. Very in-depth plot.
i started reading Est of Eden by John Steinbeck, i really liked of mice of men and The grapes of wrath when i read them for school and i wanted a book to read over the weekend.
Rikki Downer =) Well the most recent thing I can think of that I read is a bok called 'The Book of Lost Things.' This book is about a boy that lives in an attick and goes into the woods because he thought he say a figure. The he finds a hole in a tree that he walks through and discovers a different area. To try annd get home he has to find the castle to find the king so he can get him home and through his way he finds all kinds of creatures and most of the fairy tales are in this story but there turned around to be much more freaky and creapy then how they really are. This has to be my favorite book ever!

i read about our football coach, Boyd, apparently was messin around with some girls and got into trouble. After all those lectures he gave and tellin us to leave the girls alone. Even though we never listned to him, its suprising to see him do something like this, it was funny wen i first heard it, but now its pretty sad...
I just checked out The Catcher in the Rye...again. So I'm going to reread that. I was also just finishing Twilight...again. So I guess I like reading the same books a few times, just to make sure I got it the first time.
gym vandy was a good book. it was about a boy tht was going to be a freshman and a son of a football star. welll he was god but didnt have the strentgh so he took steroids.it almost led to his death.theres wayy mor details but thts the scoop but i loved.i like books that seems like it could really happen or stuff youve thought about.
