Monday - Homecoming Week
Student senate is looking for feedback on what you thought of our homecoming week activities, especially the tailgate (if you went to it). Share some of the positives and any suggestions you have to improve on it for next time. Thanks!
I enjoyed going to the tailgate. My boyfriend and I had a great time at it. But I do believe I like the dances the best. If there is another tailgate I will go. Spirit Week was fun also. EXCEPT that they took out cross-dress day.
This homecoming week was ok except friday after school. Football players, like myself, couldn't go to the tailgate and some didn't want to. Can we just have a dance like every other school? It makes sense to and it's much more fun..Thanks -Travis Allen
The Telgate was fun, I enjoyed myself. The music was great and everyone was just getting to know each other. It was a great way to talk to people you would have never. -Andriana Gonzlez
Sprit week was fun. i liked all the days except hawaiian day. that was weird. i didnt get to go to the tailgate. but i did go to the game and they Band was SWWWWEEEEEETTTTT!!!! and they really got you pumped up. even though we lost, i think everyone had lots of fun! =]
Well during the week the activities were fun like the dress up days. but thursday wasn't very good for me because i don't go anywhere so i didn't have any fancy dresses. umm... i would've went to the game and the tailgate but my dad didn't get home till 6:00 soo i didn't think it was still going... :/ But nontheless it was a fun week. :D
i went to the tailgate for like the last 10mins. it seemed very fun. people were danceing and having a good time. i would like to say that some of the spirt days were not a very good idea. Hawaiian day and prom in october day could have been something different and easier to dress up for an more people probly would have participated.. but other than that it was pretty fun!
I liked the different spirit days that we had throughout the week that had us dress up in a certain way...though I didn't dress up myself, it was interesting to see what others dressed up as.
I didn't go to the tailgate or football game because I am not that into sports and I didn't even know when it was happening.
I personally thought that the homecoming activitys where retarded.! like the whole spirt week thing didnt work out. the dress up days whernt fun at all and the pep rally was soooo boring. it was probully the most boring pep rallly ive ever been too.!
The tailgate was ok in the beginning when everyone went around and we through out candy but after that it kinda went dead when there was just music and no one was doing anything.
i actually think this was the best homecoming i've had while here at eastern:) i was a very upset during the pep rally because our stupid microphones didn't work(thanks a lot mr.panici)so it made me and eric look bad:/ but other than that i LOVED the tailgate way better than any stupid dance, it was probably the best idea student senate has ever had and the game was GREAT even though we lost. i still love my team though:)
I Had Fun. It Was Like A Get Away For Me. And I Got To Be With My Friends. I Think It Just Needed More Decoration And To Be Spreaded Out More. EveryThing Was Up Front And Crowded. But I Would Like To Do It Again.
I didn't bother participating in any of the days, no school spirit. Seemed like a waste of time until my Uncle explained that Homecoming was never for the students, but is for reving up the sports players. Then it made sense. Why can't I choose to not participate?
Homecominq week was wonderful. I didn't really like the theme for each day,I was really lookinq forward to color day but we didnt have one. I also would've thouqht music would be playinq as everyone entered, like they did other years. I also would've thouqht the hallways would be more decorated. But overall I loved the parade and the experience in qeneral.
the pep rally was fun, the tailgate was fun, and im SO glad that they decided to a school-wide tailgate instead of the dance. the week leading up to all this was fun. Although i didnt really do any of the "spiriting" i enjoyed watching all the others getting dressed up.
Homecoming. . i Thought That The Pep Rally Could Of Been A Little Better. The Spirit Week Days Were Okay Too, i Had Fun Getting Dressed Up & What Not . & i Had A Good Time At The Game Because i Was In The Student Section.. Whcih Is Always Exciting haha . i Didnt Get A Chance To Go To The Tailgate Or Parade Thoo Unfortunately .
I Think Homecoming Week Was Fun Because We Got To See Everyone Who Did It School Spirit. At The Tailgate That Was Fun Also Because You Got To Gather Up With Your Friends Before The Game Started Who Didnt Go. And Everybody Came To Gather By Doing The Cupid Shuffle And It Was No Drama.
Spirit Week was fun!!!! But I think that Having a dance for homecoming would of been nice, because we all expected to have a dance and alot of the sudents wanted to go!!! I had fun though.

I went to the tailgate because i live close and i stayed for about 20mins, saw a couple old friends but then was extremely bored so i left.
