Valentine's Day - Hot or Not?
What do you think about Valentine's Day? Is it a big "come on" designed to get us to waste our money on temporary things (like chocolate and flowers), or is a great excuse for us all to have a little romantic fun?
Me, Personally, I love Valentine's day. Even though it's origins are a little crazy, I still think it is a wonderful time for girls to be spoiled by their boyfriends. It is a wonderful day to have some romantic fun and I don't think it's a total waste for guys. Chocolates and Flowers is enough to score some brownie points with the gal...
I think Valentines Day is simply a great way to show how much others mean to you. People forget too often that there are other forms of love BESIDES the romance between a couple. There are friendships and family members whom we should definitely say "I love you" to once in a while. This is just one day out of the year; we take advantage of them almost everyday.
i love valentines day, i think its a day for couples to appreciate each other, it does not matter if you get gifts its the fact that you get to spend time with your significant other =) (i love Bradley Colosky!)
it is what you make of it, personally i dont like it. i think its pointless. why should we only take one day out of the year to be romantic when you can do it all the time? why give gifts on a day where they are expected when you could surprise your loved one on say a random tuesday
i think valentine's day about love and romance to give a rose flowers and box of chocolate. give the valentines card like roses are red violets are blue there's a candy you can't have one is a joke is really nice and sweet on valentine's day.
Valentines day is an excellent chance to celebrate the eternally howling void of emptiness that is my love life. To be brutally honest, I'm just getting over this phase of trying to set women on fire with my mind... anyway I'll probably just spend V-day breaking stuff in a parking lot whilst listening to Pat Benatar and White Snake.
Valentines day is a day to give something like chocolate or something little to show your love to the person you are dating. but its a day to be able to spend time with the one you love.
I personally like Valentines Day! It's a day for couples to spend together and appreciate eachother. Its not about the gifts or spending money its just about cherrishing the times you have with your boyfriend/girlfriend.
Valentines day is a joke, although a gift with thought put behind it is welcomed not a overpriced mainstream money maker like chocolates or flowers.
