Tuesday, 9-11
So today is the infamous 9-11 day. For many adults, 9-11 doesn't seem that long ago, but for many of you I'm guessing you may hardly remember it. Share some of your thoughts on 9-11 ... maybe what you remember about the original day ... or maybe how you think things have changed in our society as a result (for the better or for the worse) ...

i think things have changed in result to 9/11 by the united states tightening down on security for the airports. i think they've also become more strict on security plans in general for the united states.
ReplyDeleteIt changed for worse cause it started a new war and left us in a bad debut. if 9/11 were not to happen i think the us would have been better in money wise
ReplyDeleteI can't believe a strike like that would cause all of us to go into a war. i would be mad to but going into the war just made everything worse.
ReplyDeleteIt cause us all to go into a war, i remember when me and my family watched tv and it was all over the news and internet, etc.
ReplyDeletei dont know alot about 9 11 except that it was a airplane hitting i think... the twin towers and i think that that was very draumatic for the people of that time.
ReplyDelete9/11 changed the lives of many people especially the families that had lost someone on that day. it did change a bit since that day they have been more strict in airports and have higher security.
ReplyDeletei don't remember much but what i do know is that it was a big change on the way the us functioned we changed the security in airports and our military has changed the us has re thought about who we leave alone o airplanes. they look at Muslims like they are all gonna go and blow up everything in site i honestly don't believe that but yes some may but not all of them
ReplyDeletei remember on 9./11 i was watching tv with my family on the couch when our show was interrupted to show 9/11 info
ReplyDeleteIt was very bad and now we have to take more steps to make sure it doesn't happen again.
ReplyDeleteWe will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.

I think now because of 9/11 people realize that America does have threats and should worry that in thing can happen and life could change in a matter of moments.
ReplyDelete-I doNT knOw waT happeN i juST remmbeR ppLe beiNq shouT......nD talkiNq abt waT happeN in america Nd hOw ppLE bomb iT uP.........
ReplyDeleteI think that it was a horrible, very frightening day for the U.S. knowing an attack is coming from the no where who could it be? and all these things running through your mind wondering where will they attack next etc..
ReplyDelete- Jose A' Gallo
The attack on the towers was bad, peoples loved ones died. It's the fact that in the entire world about 160,000 people die daily(people's loved ones),and out of that number 16,000 children die of hunger,CHILDREN.Only 3000 people died during the attacks on the towers....But because of the fact that they were American lives it was an outrage.Yes people losing their loved ones is sad,but it seems like people only care when it happens to them.My opinion, not trying to offend anyone.
ReplyDeleteI don't remeber it, but a lot has changed since then, you can only take certain items on a plane, they check everything you have to make sure you don't have anything illegal. That has made our country better so we don't have any sneak attacks like how 9/11 was.
ReplyDeleteAll i know about 9/11 is that the twin towers were crashed into by two planes an alot of people were killed while it happen.

I remember being in school and then the teacher turning on the TV and watching it with face in shock
ReplyDeleteI remember they all put us in the gym and the teachers watched it on the tv...
ReplyDeleteI really don't remember anything about it.. And all I know about it changing things, is what I've heard so far. So, really, I don't know hah.
ReplyDeleteI just remember seeing it on TV and not understanding what was happening...I think a lot of people still haven't moved on...but then again there are people who make jokes about it, and some of them are pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't remember 9-11, 2001. But I do know some of the negative effects it had on a lot of American's views on Muslim Americans and Muslims in general. A lot of racist comments are made against Muslims now because of the attack, which I and I'm sure many others find extremely rude.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't remember that much. I just remember two twin towers were crashed into and I was watching it on TV.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I was in 1st grade in Ms. Stepter's class and I was coloring next thing I know I saw on tv that some buildings were falling down.

I don'T remember much i only remember my teacher turning on the news and my dad coming to get me from class.
ReplyDeleteI also think things changed in a major way they are providing more security and watching everyones every move just being more careful with things.

Things has changed alot ever since 9/11. People should feel safe now because there's more security especially at the airport. And the whole world seems like it changed ever since then.

I dont remember a whole lot, just sitting in class and my parents coming and getting me early from school. But things have changed ALOT. Not just airport security, but security everywhere. Its like low key protection 24/7. Everyone knows what to do now if something like that was to happen again.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember much from 9/11 but i do remember my mom crying watching the news and the panic at my elementary school when the towers were hit. 9/11 was a tragedy and will never be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember much about 9/11. But there are things that changed, like other people say, airport security.
ReplyDeletei cant remember well i only remember i was told to go in the basement the day it happened. but may everyone who were lost in 2012 rest in peace.
